The Q Office is a workplace fitout for a consultancy of 40 people that had outgrown its old space, and its old habits. The old office had a boardroom nobody wanted to meet in and desks nobody wanted to sit at.
We designed around how the team actually works: fewer enclosed offices, more informal meeting corners, and a material language calm enough to spend eight hours a day in. Acoustic treatment was built into the ceiling and walls rather than added after complaints started.
Eighteen months after handover, the client's biggest request was more of the same — for a second floor we're currently designing.
